BASSANO

BASSANO is a luxury accommodation offering in Red Hill Victoria, designed exclusively for 2. Once a small bed and breakfast, owners Eliza and Scott decided to create something vastly different to the traditional aesthetic often associated with the local area. Architecturally designed by Tom Robertson Architects, BASSANO is equal parts luxurious and quirky. Drawing on Eliza’s Italian heritage we crafted the wordmark and type system both from Italian typefaces, seamlessly connecting to the many vintage and modern Italian objects found within the space. A bespoke fluted acrylic compendium which reflects a statement glass sliding wall, features 3D embroidered lettering, powder-coated binder rings and coloured stocks. The brand suite consists of leather-embossed coasters, Brutalist inspired signage, foil-embossed cards and gift cards sealed with custom postage stamps which feature resident donkeys Peppi and Guido.
